Industrial stretch

Stretch film is used for packaging and safety of products to be sent to the desired location or storage in the warehouse. Packaging and stretching Tensile film is a plastic film with high tensile properties that is wrapped around equipment. Elastic retention holds the items firmly. It is often used to level pallet loads but may also be used for packing smaller items.

Types of traction films include batch traction film, manual traction film, core core traction film, machine traction film and static diffuser film. The most common low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) stretch packaging materials are produced by the copolymerization of ethylene with alpha-olefins, the most common of which are butene, hexane and octene. The use of higher alpha olefins (hexane or octane) increases the properties of the tensile film, especially in relation to elongation and fracture resistance. Other types of polyethylene and PVC can also be used. Many films are about 500% off, but only about 100-300% are used. After stretching, elastic restorations are used to hold the load firmly.

There are two ways to produce stretch packaging. 1) Blowed: The resin is melted and taken out through a ring mold and cooled by air. This process is slower but of higher quality. Production cost is also higher due to the quantity produced per hour. 2) Mold: The film is ejected through the mold gap, then passes through the cooling rollers. This speeds up the cooling process. Its quality is not as good as the blown method, but it can be produced in less than an hour. Other properties such as fracture toughness, adhesion, clarity, tear resistance, static discharge, etc. are also important.
